A day at the beach

We just returned from a wonderfully relaxing time at Henry Island. I of course had to take this opportunity to sit Megan on this adorable little chair that both her Dad and her Auntie Amy grew up sitting on.

Great Expectations

From the time I was little I have loved babies. I love everything about them- their smell, their toes, their noises- well you get the idea. There is something so special about expecting a baby, especially your first. I was so excited to be able to shoot Nate and Shelly about a week before they meet their little girl. Seriously- someone should tell Shelly you are not supposed to look this amazing 9 1/2 months pregnant!

Finally enough hair for a bow!

It has been a big month for Megan with her two new top teeth coming in and finally enough hair for a bow- which pleases her Mom to no end! We were in Portland for the weekend and I got a chance to play with my new lense!!

Party in my crib

This was taken right after bath time and before I was going to get Megan in her little jammies for the night. She was having so much fun in her crib and laughing hysterically at what? I have no idea. I love that you can see the drool and yes even a little bit of snot on her face from me trying to wipe that runny nose.

Another Sunny Day

The bond my husband has with his little girl is simply stated- beautiful. I love that they are so close and that he adores everything about his princess. These are some pictures of the first sunny day we have had in a long time. They say pictures say a thousand words and that is how I feel about these.

Island Life

So I have become slightly obsessed with my new camera. My husband would call it VERY obsessed. While we were visiting in the San Juan Islands over Easter I kept following my nephew Sam around like I was a stalker. Here are a few shots of the weekend.
